To celebrate Easter this year we decided to head into Port Townsend and explore this little town.
Port Townsend is best known for its many 19th century Victorian styled homes. This seaside town is also a U.S. National Historic Landmark District due to its historic significance. Port Townsend is very walkable and interesting. Not only are the homes charming to look at, but every storefront is unique and delightful all on their own.

We've used the ferry service to and from Widbey Island, but this was the first chance we really had to explore. We decided to stop for lunch at Salty Girls Seafood. They are well known for FRESH and LOCAL seafood. They did NOT disappoint!

We were lucky enough not to have any rain to slow us down during our visit, but it sure was windy! I mean gale force winds too! I haven't felt wind like this since we were in South Dakota!

All in all, it was a wonderful visit. We loved exploring the town and taking in the views of the water. Port Townsend is definitely a place I look forward to revisiting the next time we are in the area.
